Rock Jock at WLOX radio during his Senior Year at Notre Dame High School in Biloxi, WLOX Television newscaster the following year, Rick later received an acting scholarship to Catholic U. and made his screen acting debut in "Midnight Man" with Burt Lancaster. In 1969, Rick and several others played cards at my house all night as Hurricane Camille bent a sixty foot pine tree to the ground just a few feet outside the the back door. We'd pause for a glance outside now and then, and then someone would say, "Okay, ante up, and get back to business!" The next day, though, the headaches began. |
