A girl with her face turned backward |
Smiling so no one else can see |
And deep in the tangles of her mind |
She cries for the one she longs to be
Her long dark hair
Topping the crown |
She says it’s all mistakes |
But the people must go down |
She walks but her feet aren’t moving
Down streets where the wondrous thinkers go |
She passes and makes the teardrops fall
When Death Angel speaks the godlings know |
Her long dark hair
Topping the crown |
She says it’s all mistakes |
But the people must go down |
Yeah,
the people must go down |
