Here's an artist I've never met, but the last name speaks for itself.  Son of the legendary Country artist, Dale McBride, Terry is one of the most talented singer/songwriters in the business.

Just ask Kix Brooks & Ronnie Dunn, with whom Terry has co-written a ton of hits.  "Play something Country" is one recent that comes to mind.  Dale McBride's influence on his son is remarkable.  Terry's musical roots are varied, however, with a background in Rock & Roll AND Country.  He is a tremendous songwriting talent, with great lyrical flair,  and a whole lot of that Red Dirt Texas soul.

Dale would be proud that Terry,  carries on the family music tradition.  Not only has Terry authored many hit songs with and for Brooks & Dunn, Reba McIntyre, and many others (see the BMI list below), but his group, "McBride and the Ride" has recorded several albums of their own.

I've got a hunch, though, that Terry's influence on country music is still in it's infancy.  With his rich tenor voice, and great songwriting ability, it's just a matter of time before Terry finds that special producer that will launch him into his own star path as a solo artist.
